Requirements
Acute Family Law & Mediations are seeking a Senior Lawyer with a minimum of five years' experience across all aspects of family law matters. This role offers flexible WFH arrangements and office-based work from our Brisbane premises, located directly opposite the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia. You will have the opportunity to manage your own caseload within timeframes that suit your needs.
We are looking for a practitioner with a strong focus on family law and domestic violence matters, excellent professional and interpersonal skills, and the good humour and composure needed to meet the demands of this area of practice.
Responsibilities include providing high-quality legal advice to clients and representing them in negotiations, mediations, and court appearances in a wide range of family law and domestic violence matters, including:
Parenting and Property Settlement applications
Divorce applications
Applications for Protection Orders; and
Family Dispute Resolution, Mediation, Conciliation, and Arbitration.
